Dean James
Chief Executive Officer, Ingeus UK Ltd
With extensive experience in both the commercial and public sectors, Dean is responsible for driving Ingeus’ strategic growth objectives as well as overseeing the continued effective performance of our existing contracts in the
Prior to joining Ingeus in June 2010, Dean was Chief Operating Officer for the Corporate IT Directorate of the Department for Work and Pensions, where he was instrumental in seeing through large-scale ICT reform.
He has held senior positions in business transformational outsourcing for Siemens and spent 20 years in the international oil and gas industry working in developments, operations and on global business improvement.
Dean is a qualified barrister and was recognised for his positive contribution to the community with a CBE for public and voluntary service in 2009.

Chris Blackwell
Chief Operating Officer, Ingeus UK Ltd
Chris was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Ingeus UK in June 2009. He is responsible for driving high levels of performance across all UK operations.
Chris joined Ingeus in March 2003 and went on to help set up and deliver Ingeus’ first New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) programme in Birmingham - the largest and most successful NDDP programme in the country.
While working on NDDP, Chris brought across learning from Ingeus UK's Australian parent company and set up an innovative, and at that time unique, integrated Condition Management Programme. This model was further developed on Ingeus' six Pathways to Work contracts, which ran from 2007 to 2011.
Chris spent two years as a Director of Operations and oversaw the performance of sites in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Scotland.
Prior to joining Ingeus Chris spent two years in Japan working in education.

Jon Adams
Director of Business Development, Ingeus UK Ltd
Jon was appointed as Director of Business Development for Ingeus UK in June 2009. His role is focused on enabling Ingeus to achieve its plans for growth and diversification.
Jon brings to the role more than ten years’ experience in the welfare-to-work industry. He joined Ingeus in 2002 as an Advisor and went on to manage several Ingeus operations in London before being appointed Operations Director for London in 2007.
While performing this role he oversaw the successful roll-out of three Pathways to Work contracts and a doubling in size of Ingeus’ London operations.

David Merritt
Chief Financial Officer, Ingeus UK Ltd
David joined Ingeus UK in January 2011 when the company became a joint venture equally owned by Deloitte LLP and the international Ingeus Group. As Chief Financial Officer, David has financial, legal and commercial responsibility for all aspects of Ingeus UK, including relationships with our supply chain.
David is a Chartered Management Accountant, with an Honours degree in Accounting & Law and an MBA from London Business School. David’s experience is entirely in the outsourced services sector; he has previously worked in Finance and Commercial Director roles within Serco plc, Liberata, Connaught plc and Deloitte.
David has experience of leading successful large-scale change programmes, leading large complex client-facing business units, leading teams delivering short-term business turnarounds, and delivering consultancy services to public and private sector clients.
