Our employment programmes
Ingeus is committed to providing a high-quality service across all of our programmes, with an emphasis on finding the right jobs for each individual client.
The Work Programme
Ingeus delivers the Work Programme across England and Scotland, providing jobseekers with all the support they need to find and keep a job for the long term. For more information on the Work Porgramme click here.
Jobcentre Plus Support Contracts
Ingeus delivers three Jobcentre Plus Support Contracts in Birmingham and Solihull, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
The majority of clients on the programme have been claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance for between six and twelve months, and are supported to move closer to finding work through short, group-based training modules such as ‘Doing Effective Job Search’ and ‘Skills for Work’.
In addition, lone parents, carers and partners of benefit claimants can participate in a more intensive module, Launch Pad, which supports them to overcome individual barriers to returning to work and secure vocational training and work placements as required.
People who have recently been made redundant, or who are at risk of being made redundant, are also supported through the programme.
Ingeus delivers the programme in partnership with several well-established subcontractors, including Intraining in Leicestershire, Papworth Trust in part of Northamptonshire, and Platinum in north-west Birmingham.
REACH
Ingeus’ REACH programme offers support for people who have been unemployed for over a year are:
- claiming Incapacity Benefits, or
- a lone parent, or
- living with a partner who is working and has at least one child under 16.
The programme is only available to residents of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. For more details about the support available click here.
Work Choice
Ingeus’ Work Choice programme is a voluntary programme for people with disabilities who live in South London and Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth.
The programme offers disabled people the support they need to find the right job, make the move into work, and become more independent once they start work. Ingeus’ partnership with The Shaw Trust, Mencap, and Action for Blind People allows us to address the specific needs of our Work Choice clients, whether they have a physical disability such as a vision or hearing impairment, a mental health condition, or a learning disability.
