Our New Deal programme
When you join the New Deal programme you will be given individual support to find the right job
Ingeus works with Jobcentre Plus to run the New Deal programme in the London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. If you live in this area and your Jobcentre Plus advisor refers you to Ingeus, you will be given your own Ingeus advisor and will come to our offices for your appointments.
New Deal is set up to prepare you for work and to give you the work experience you need. Everyone who joins our New Deal programmes is given individual, focused support to find the right job and become better off than they would be on benefits.
What support does Ingeus offer?
Every Ingeus client can access the following support:
- A personal employment advisor - one-to-one support throughout your search for work;
- In-work benefits calculations - to work out how much better off you will be in work;
- Expert job-hunting advice - such as finding and applying for jobs, confidence-building, and interview techniques and practice;
- Great facilities - well-equipped job-hunting areas with PCs, internet, phones, newspapers and journals;
- Financial assistance - such as paying for travel expenses, work equipment and interview clothing;
- Continuing in-work support - our support is ongoing for as long as you require it.
