Minister for Work and Pensions visits Ingeus staff and clients
3rd August, 2010

Ingeus has hosted a visit from the Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, DWP Minister for Work and Pensions, at our Elephant and Castle office in London.
The Minister wanted to see at firsthand how Ingeus delivers employment programmes and particularly wanted to meet some of the clients who benefit from our services.
Following a short briefing from Ingeus CEO, Dean James, and senior managers, Operations Manager Caroline Banks took the Minister on a tour of the office.
He spent over 20 minutes with Advisor Chris Taylor and his client, who has Multiple Sclerosis and is receiving support on our Pathways to Work programme. The appointment included some online job searching and a summary of the Interview Skills workshop the client was about to attend. The client explained how our Physiotherapist had also been helping her with some exercises for her wrists, which she was finding very effective.
The Minister then spent 45 minutes with nine clients from the various programmes run from the office. They shared their personal experiences and opinions of the support they receive through Ingeus and were pleased to have had the opportunity to speak to the Minister face-to-face.
