Work Choice
Work Choice - delivering specialist employment support for people with disabilities
Ingeus’ Work Choice programme is a voluntary programme for people with disabilities who live in South London and Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth.
The programme offers disabled people the support they need to find the right job, make the move into work, and become more independent once they start work.
Individually tailored support
Ingeus’ partnership with The Shaw Trust, Mencap, and Action for Blind People allows us to address the specific needs of our Work Choice clients, whether they have a physical disability such as a vision or hearing impairment, a mental health condition, or a learning disability.
When clients join Work Choice they receive support from their personal advisor, who can help them to:
- Create a tailored plan of support
- Decide what type of job they want to do
- Write CVs and job applications
- Access appropriate employers and job vacancies
- Perform well in interviews
- Make the move from benefits to work
- Arrange Access to Work support
- Adjust to being employed, get the most out of working, and become independent in their job
Ingeus’ Work Choice programme is delivered in partnership with Jobcentre Plus as part of the Government’s aim to help more people into work.
