The Work Programme
The Work Programme provides a single, integrated package of support to help thousands of unemployed people move into lasting work.
The Government has simplified and streamlined the welfare-to-work industry by reducing the number of employment programmes being delivered while increasing the scope and size of its programmes. At the core of these changes is the new Work Programme.
The Work Programme provides jobseekers – including young people, long-term unemployed people and those with health conditions – with access to the support they need to find a job that lasts.
Ingeus is delivering seven Work Programme contracts as prime contractor in the following areas:
- East of England
- East Midlands
- West London
- North East
- Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside & Halton
- Scotland
- West Yorkshire
Ingeus is also delivering the Work Programme as a subcontractor in the West Midlands.
Ingeus will deliver the Work Programme in partnership with an extensive Partner Network - a highly skilled supply chain of third, public and private sector organisations.
In England, this programme is match-funded by the European Social Fund.
